EQUIPMENT OPERATORS

USFS is looking for Equipment Operators with the following experience and qualifications: 

  • Underground Utilities / Site/ Paving
  • Bulldozer/Trackhoe/Dump Truck Operators
  • Heavy Equipment Operator: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Valid Drivers License (Preferred)

CDL OPERATORS

USFS is looking for Drivers with the following experience: 

  • Experienced in operating 1/2 Ton Trucks and 1 Ton Trucks
  • You Must be 21 years of age
  • Must possess a Valid/Current Drivers License
  • Work well without direct supervision
  • You Must be able to pass a Drug Test 
  • You Must have a clean Criminal background (let us know of any issues)
  • You cannot have any Felony Charges within last 10 years (exceptions can be made)
  • You Must possess a Smartphone or Tablet with a Navigation App

 ENVIRONMENTAL & FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

The field service technician is responsible for performing various activities in association with multiple types of field service projects including but not limited to tank cleanings and decommissionings, demolition services, environmental remediation, product and waste sampling as well as general maintenance and housekeeping on and off the job site.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Performs labor and helper functions as directed for all services provided by the company.
  • Services include but are not limited to excavations, tank cleaning, tank demolition, site remediations
  • Performs work with a positive attitude and in a safe and professional manner
  • Assist in daily inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps, and general work area / tools prior to starting any job
  • Wears personal protective equipment required to wear according to customer and job specifications
  • Promotes safety through their own actions and work habits. 
  • Reports all accidents and near misses involving themselves, company vehicles, or other jobsite personnel
  • Complies with all applicable rules, regulations, policies, & procedures of the company and customer
  • Develops a basic working knowledge of all equipment that is utilized in performing the assigned work duties
  • Must be willing to travel and work on remote jobsites 
  • Must be willing to work in adverse weather conditions safely

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must pass background check and pre-employment and random drug testing
  • Pass physical and respirator fit testing requirements
  • Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Attend daily pre job safety briefing
  • Strict adherence to all USFS’s safety policies and procedures
  • Wear all appropriate PPE for the task(s) being performed

Gain knowledge and competent skills necessary to safely operate all tools and equipment that are used in the course of USFS’s projects including but not limited to small hand tools, hot work tools, high pressure cleaning equipment, vacuum truck operation, forklift and manlifts, other specialized equipment.

  • Properly store all tools in their designated space when not in use
  • Be able to perform confined space entry and work within confined spaces or at various heights.
  • Properly use and read air and radiation monitors 
  • Be prepared to travel to outlying job locations without advance notice
  • Complete all company and customer required training to safely perform tasks assigned
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Accurately complete your time sheet on a daily basis and submit to your supervisor each week
  • This position reports to the project supervisor and or the Operations and General Manager.
  • Perform pre-trip and pre-use inspections on all vehicles, tools, and equipment utilized
